This is the first in a mini-series on home that I began after a recent move. After 13 moves in the last 13 years, the irony is not lost on me that this series quickly turned into an “at sea” series. Themes of being at sea, drifting, being tossed in stormy seas, and lost began to emerge. Seasons of transition can feel this way, calling us back to whatever anchors us until we find dry land.
